Welcome, Suzanna Jarrell, FNP-C!
February 5, 2020 – Ochiltree General Hospital is proud to announce Suzanna Jarrell, FNP-C, is now seeing patients at the Perryton Health Center! Though Suzanna has been working in nursing for over 28 years, she made the step to becoming a Nurse Practitioner in August of 2019 after graduating from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Master’s Degree in Nursing.
“I have worked at Ochiltree General for the past 27 years and was previously working in administration as the Chief Nursing Officer,” Suzanna says. “I chose to return to further my education and become a Family Nurse Practitioner so that I could work with members of our community day to day. My heart has always been set on caring for people and I am honored to be able to do just that right here in Perryton.”
As part of Suzanna’s program plan, she spent a great deal of time doing clinicals and working with local providers.
“I would like to thank all of our local physicians and nurse practitioners because they have all played a part in my education,” Suzanna says. “Whether it was through clinicals, simply answering my questions or working alongside me they have all given their very best to teach me to the best of their abilities.”
Suzanna would like to thank her husband, Tracy, and her children for supporting her throughout the process of receiving her degree and clinicals. She would also like to thank her friends, coworkers, hospital administration and our local doctors for their investment in her while pursuing this goal.
Suzanna began practicing here in Perryton in October of 2019 and has worked at both the DeWitt Family Practice and Perryton Health Center with plans to begin working in the Emergency Room at Ochiltree General in the future.
