Jennifer McGaughy, D.O.
Education/Experience
Dr. Jenny McGaughy grew up north of Fort Worth, Texas. She knew early on that she wanted to be a doctor....to follow in her dad’s footsteps. She attended Texas Tech University where she received her Bachelors of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology. Dr. McGaughy then attended the University of North Texas Health Sciences Center, Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine where she received her doctorate. Drawn to the Panhandle, she did her family medicine residency with Texas Tech University at Baptist St Anthony's Hospital in Amarillo, Texas. She also completed an Obstetrics Fellowship at Northwest Texas Hospital in 2006. Dr. McGaughy was recruited to Ochiltree General Hospital in 2006 and has been there ever since. While she enjoys all aspects of family medicine, Dr. McGaughy has a specialist interest/focus in women's health, obstetrics and pediatrics. She is close to having had delivered 2000 babies in her career! Her favorite thing is to watch the babies she delivered grow up!
Personal Life
Dr. McGaughy married her high school sweetheart,Sam, in 1996 and they have four children, Molly, Maisy, Justin and Jake. They enjoy their home in the country and are proud to be Perryton residents. She enjoys to run long distance, travel, read and eat!

Dr. McGaughy feels blessed to be surrounded by an awesome staff at OGH. She loves being a part of Perryton and looks forward to helping her patients through birth until death as their family practitioner.
