August 18, 2021 – The OGH Healthcare Foundation regrets to announce the cancelation of our October 2021 event featuring Taya Kyle, wife of American Sniper and Navy SEAL Chris Kyle and the New York Times bestselling author of American Wife. Given the increase in COVID-19 numbers on a local and national scale, this event has been canceled out of an abundance of caution upon reviewing strategies associated with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
While the Foundation and your local hospital have attempted to move this event several time since early 2020, the decision has been made to cancel the event with no plans to reschedule in the near future.
While we all wish the event could take place, everyone at the OGH Healthcare Foundation is looking forward to continuing our mission of supporting the upcoming approx. $5,000,000.00 Surgery Center projects at Ochiltree General Hospital. These upgrades and additions to existing facilities have been made possible by generous donations within our community as well as strategic partners on a state and national level.
It is truly an honor for the OGH Healthcare Foundation to serve our community.
