Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapy at OGH is located in the C-Wing of the Hospital.  At Ochiltree General Hospital, our expanded Therapy Department now proudly includes both Physical Therapy (PT) and Occupational Therapy (OT), offering a comprehensive approach to your recovery and well-being. While both disciplines help you regain function, they focus on different aspects of daily life. Our  Occupational Therapists concentrate on helping you master the everyday tasks and activities that matter most to you – whether it's getting dressed independently, cooking a meal, managing personal care, returning to work, or engaging in hobbies. They adapt tasks and environments to empower you to live as independently as possible, ensuring you can participate fully in your daily life. Our OT teams work seamlessly to provide care tailored to your unique recovery journey.

Swing Bed Schedule for OT Patients

Recovery requires dedication, which is why our Occupational Therapy team is with you every step of the way. For our inpatient and Swing Bed patients, we provide intensive therapy Monday through Friday, twice a day. This frequent, consistent care accelerates your recovery and helps you build momentum toward going home.

You do not have to be an acute care patient at Ochiltree General Hospital to recover with us. We welcome external referrals. If you or a loved one are currently hospitalized at another facility but want to complete your rehabilitation closer to home in Perryton, you can request a referral to our Swing Bed Program.
