Ochiltree General Hospital Welcomes New Chief Nursing Officer

March 5, 2021 – Ochiltree General Hospital welcomes Jyme Kinnard, RN, as Chief Nursing Officer of Ochiltree General Hospital. Kinnard, who has been a fixture at Ochiltree General for over 10 years, has served in a number of roles including as a Registered Nurse, Manager of the Perryton Health Center as well as Assistant Chief Nursing Officer, Trauma Nurse Coordinator and Infection Control Officer with the organization.


In her new role as Chief Nursing Officer, Kinnard is responsible for ensuring the ongoing, effective clinical operations of Ochiltree General Hospital and for the ongoing assessment and improvement of departments including Medical/Surgical, Swing Bed, Surgery, Obstetrics and the Emergency Department.


“Working at Ochiltree General has been an honor. As our hospital continues to grow and provide even more extensive services to our local community, our Nursing Department continues to evolve as well,” Kinnard says. “I am so excited to continue serving Perryton and surrounding areas in this new role to ensure our nursing staff continues to thrive to the benefit of our patients, providers and all of our neighbors.”


The role of Assistant Chief Nursing Officer, Trauma Nurse Coordinator and Infection Control has been posted and applications are now being accepted to fill that position.
