Ochiltree General Hospital to Host COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic

March 2, 2021 – Ochiltree General Hospital is thrilled to announce a free COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic to be held over the course of four days at the Ochiltree County Expo Center located at 402 Expo Drive in Perryton.


The COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic will be open to those ages 16 years and over regardless of whether the patient resides in Ochiltree County. Residents of all surrounding counties and communities in our area are welcome. Vaccinations are available on a first come, first serve basis. Masks will be required for anyone attending the event to enter the Expo Center.


A total of 1,000 doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine will be available and anyone receiving the first dose during this COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic will be included in a second dose COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic at a later date.


Please be aware that although the COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic is planned for the dates and times listed below, Ochiltree General wants everyone to know availability of the vaccine is entirely dependent upon demand in the first two days of the COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic. Dates and times for the events are as follows:


· Thursday, March 11 | Open from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

· Friday, March 12 | Open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

· Saturday, March 13 | Open from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

· Monday, March 15 | Open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Q: Who can attend these clinics?

A: Anyone, no matter the location of your residence or immigration status. All recipients must be above the age of 16.


Q: What should I bring with me?

A: Please bring some form of identification.


Q: What is the cost?

A: The vaccine is completely free.


Q: Will I be called and scheduled for my second dose?

A: No, it is your responsibility to come back for your second dose. COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic information will be on local media outlets, on our website at www.ochiltreehospital.com and our Facebook and Instagram pages at Ochiltree General Hospital.


Q: What brand vaccine will be at the COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic?

A: Pfizer is the brand being used.


Q: What are the timing guidelines for my second dose?

A: You may get your second dose as close to the 21-day interval as possible. If that is not possible, the second dose can be administered up to 42 days (six weeks) after the date of your initial COVID-19 vaccination.
