Emergency Care

The Emergency Department at Ochiltree General Hospital is a state-certified Level IV Trauma Center available to our community 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. Staffed by specially trained emergency physicians and nurses proficient in advanced life support, you can count on the ER Department at OGH when seconds matter.

 

Services available at the Emergency Department at Ochiltree General Hospital include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Six beds

  • Diagnostic imaging services available on-site 24/7, including:

    • Computed tomography (CT) scans

    • Digital xray

    • Ultrasound

  • Laboratory services available on-site 24/7

  • Cardiopulmonary monitoring

  • Respiratory treatments

  • Stabilization

  • Transfer, if necessary, to a higher level of care.

  • ​

    Insurance Plans

    The Emergency Department at Ochiltree General Hospital accepts most healthcare insurance plans, including Medicare.

    ​

    Continuing Education

    Ochiltree Hospital District is the recipient of funds provided by the Dean Allen Willis Foundation. These funds are used solely for Emergency Room and Trauma education for staff and healthcare providers. The Dean Allen Willis Foundation has been a vital aid for the Ochiltree General Hospital Emergency Department and will continue to do so with your help.
